ηιαι θολου ἐν Κροκοδίλων πόλει πρλεκον περὶ τῆς παραδοθείσης αὐτὸν Κράτωνι ἀφʼ οὗ το ἐχθρός· ἐμοῦ γὰρ ἕνεκεν ογισάμενοι. μὴ οὖν ἀγανακτήσηις γείνομαι, ἀλλὰ τοῦτο ἐκεινοοῦνται ο εἰς σὲ μόνον τους αισι οι τοιοῦ τοι ὑπάρχ ἀλλὰ καὶ α ἀπείσχημαι καθότι ἐμοὶ δὲ συγγνώμην ἔχε ὅτι εκεα τὰ κατʼ ἐμαυτόν. οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ἡμῖν ἐν Φιλαδελφείαι ἄλλος ἐφʼ ὃν κα ταφεύγωσιν οἱ ἀδικούμενοι διὰ παντὸς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ. γίνωσκε οὖν ὅτι οὐ δύναμαι καὶ ἐγὼ διʼ ἄλλου τινὸς ἀπολυθῆναι τοῦ ἀδίκως μοι ἐπικαλουμένου. οὐ γὰρ ἔστιν αἰτία, ἀλλὰ βρα χὺ τὸ ἐπικαλούμενον, ὥστε σὺν τοῖς θεοῖς εὔ ελπίς εἰμι διασωθήσεσθαι.
