αι ἐν τοσούτῳ χρόνῳ γράμματαἐπιστολὴν οὐκ ἐδεξά μην ὥστε ἐν ἀγωνίᾳ γενέσθαι μὴ ἁρπαγῇς μ ας ων ν με ἀληθῶς ἀντὶ υἱοῦ ἀλλὰ οὐ καλῶς τὰ περὶ πατρὸς ἐποίησας οὐκ εὐσεβὲς πρᾶγμα ποιῶν· ἀλλʼ οὐδε ν ὀφείλειςὀφείλις δοῦναι κακοῖς ἀνθρώποις τοῖς βου λομένοις περὶ σοῦ ματαίανματέαν φήμην ἐξάγειν κ οὐδὲ πιστεύειν σε ἁπλῶς διαλέγεσθαι. ἔχεις γὰρ οὐκ ἀγαθοὺςἀγαγθοὺς συμπολίταςσυνπολείτας τοὺς οὐκ ἀγα θὸν περὶ σοῦ ἐπιχειρή σαντας. ἀξιῶ οὖν, υἱέ, τοὺς ἐμοὺς μένοντας παρὰ σοὶ ὡς σοὺς ἀγαπή σῃς καὶ ἐκκακεινην τὴν ἐπι στήμην φυλάξῃςφυλαξην ἣν νττε ἔσχηκά τε αυ ἐπιτάξῃς. οπτο τε fili bene valere. vestiges
