Ἑρμῆς τῷ γλυκυτά τῳ χαίρειν ?. πρὸ μὲν πάντων ὁλοκληρεῖν σε εὐχόμεθα καὶ τὸ προσκύνημά σου ποιῶ παρὰ τοῖς πατρῴοις θεοῖς. γράφων περὶ τῆς σωτηρίας σου, ἄδελ φε, μὴ ἀμέλει. μνήσθητι τοῦ ἀν θρώπου· οἶδας δὲ τίνα λέγω· ἐν τῇ βι βλιοθήκῃ. κόμισαι παρὰ τοῦ ἀνα διδόντος σοι τὰ γράμματα σελι γνίων ζεύγη κβ. ἀλλʼ ἐν τα χεῖ τὸν σάκκον μοι πέμψον καὶ τυροὺς μεγάλους ζ καὶ τῆς ἀδελφῆς ἡμῶν Θεοδωρί δος μελικηρίδωνμελικιρίδων δραχμὰς β διώβολον· περὶ ὧν χρῄζεις, γλυκύτατε ἄδελφε, γράφων μοι μὴ ὄκνει. καὶ γράφε μοι τὰ γενόμενα· πολὺ γὰρ σπουδάζω μαθεῖν. οἶ δε ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὅ τι ἂν ζητῇς ἐν τῇ βιβλιοθήκῃ. ζήτει ἀπὸ α ἔτους Ἀλεξάνδρου ἕως τοῦ θ ἔτους, καὶ ἐὰν δυνηθῇς παρὰ τῶν ἄλ λων συνγενῶν ἡμῶν ὑπο γραφὴν λαβεῖν, καλῶς ποιεῖς. ἀσπάζεταί σε ἡ γυνὴ καὶ Ἰσί δωρος ὁ συνγενὴς ἡμῶν. ἀσπάζονταί σε οἱ ἡμῶν πάντες καὶ ἡ ἀδελφὴ ἡμῶν Θεοδωρίς. ἔρρωσό μοι, γλυκύ τατε ἄδελφε, διὰ βίου ὁλοκληροῦντά σε ἀπολάβω. ἀσπάζομαι Ἑρμῆς.
