Ἀπολλώνιος Σαραπίωνι τῶι στρατηγῶι καὶ γυμνασιάρχωι πλεῖστα χαίρειν καὶ διὰ παντὸς ὑγιάινειν. Ἰσίδωρος ὁ φέρων σοι τὴν ἐπιστολὴνἐπιστολὴνἐπισθολὴν ἔστιν μου ἐκ τῆς οἰκίας. ἐρωτηθεὶς ἔχε αὐτὸν συνεσταμένον, καὶ ὑπὲρ ὧν ἐάν σοι προσέλθῃ, εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν καταλογ γὴν ποίησονπόησον αὐτῶι. τοῦτο δὲ ποίησαςπόησας ἔσῃ μοι κεχαρισμένος. καὶ σὺ δὲ περὶ ὧν ἐάν αἱρῇθέλῃςαἵρῃ σήμανον, καὶ ἀνόκνως ποιήσωπόησωι. πρὸ δὲ τῶν ὅλων πρὸς αὐτῶν ὅμοια. ἐπιμέλου σεαυτοῦ ἵνʼ ὑγιαίνῃς. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους λϛ Καίσαρος ΦαμενώθΦαῶφιΦαῶπι κϛ ἀπόδος Σαραπίωνι στρατηγῷ.

Apollonius to Sarapion the strategus and gymnasiarch, many greetings and continual good health. Isidorus, the bearer of this letter, is a member of my household. Please consider him introduced to you, and if he approaches you for anything, do it for him on my account. If you do this, I shall be obliged to you. And signify anything you choose, and I will recompense you without hesitation. Look after you health. Farewell. Dated in the 36th year of Caesar, Phaophi 26. Deliver to Sarapion, strategus.
