Translations (1)

EN scholarly
(Translation: P. L. Bat. 25.37) Isidorus alias Asclepiades, ex-gymnasiarch, represented by Aelianus, greets Papus and his brothers. I have received from you on account of rents as partial payment eighty-four artabas of wheat = 84 art. of wheat, without prejudice to my claim on the other artabas of rents you owe me. In the 19th year of the Aurelii Antoninus and Commodus, the imperial lords, (month day).

About this record's data
  • From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
  • AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
  • Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
  • Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
  • Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
