ἐγραψ σεαυτων τας Ἡρακλείδη πέ ρυσι ἐλθεῖν ὧδε υ ἔσω παρὰ Ἀπεινᾶν λωνα τηλην καὶ ἀνάγκασον τὴν παιδίσκην κατα βάλλειν αὐτοῖς καθʼ ἡμέραν εἴκοσι πέντε κοτύλας πρωίας καὶ κε ὀψίας, ἕως ἔλθω αὐτοῦ, καὶ παρα καλεῖν αὐτοὺς πίνεινπείνειν δὶς καθʼ ἡμέραν. οἶδας γὰρ ὅτι ἄλλην ἐλπίδα οὐκ ἔχομεν, εἰ μὴ αὐτὸς ἔρ χομαι κάτω πάντως αὐτοῦ κατὰ τάχους. ταχὺ δὲ οὐχ ὑπάγομεν εἰς βορρᾶ. ἐὰν δὲ ἀπέλθω, μὴ πάλιν ἔχε εἰς τὴν ψυχήν σου ὕποπτον· οἶδας δὲ ὅτι οὐκ ἀλλάσσω ἐμαυτὸν πώποτε οὐδὲ δύο ψυχὰς ἔχω εἰς σέ. ἀναβαίνω γὰρ ἐκείνῃ κατὰ τάχους καὶ ἔρχομαι αὐτοῦ. μὴ οὖν ἀφῇς τοὺς καμήλουςκαμείλους μεῖναι εἰς Μαρμειμιν, ὅτι ἤκου κα ὅτι οὐκοὐχ εἰλοῦνται. ὃντον χόρτον γάρ, τὸν λαμ βάνετε παρὰ Ἀπεῖτος, ψήφισον πόσον γείνεται, ἵνα ἐὰν ἔλθω δῶ αὐτῷ τὴν τιμήν. τὰς θυγατέρας. ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶς εὔχομαι πάντας τῷ δεῖνι παρὰ Ἰαλίωνος ἀδελφοῦ.
