Ἄρσις Ἀπολλωνίῳ τῷ υἱῶι χαίρειν. Εὐκταῖον ἦν μοι διʼ ἐπιστολῆς ἀσπάσασθαί σε, ἐπὶ οἶδας τὸ συμβὰν τῶι εὐμοίρῳ υἱῷ μου Χαιρήμονι, ὅτι ἐξάπινα ἐγένετο τὸ ἀτύχημα καὶ δεῖ αὐτὸν δευτέρᾳ ταφῇ ταφῆναι. ἀναγκαίως γράφω σοί· οὐδένα ἔχω μετὰ τὸν θεὸν εἰ μή σε καὶ οἶ δα τὴν προαίρεσιν ἣν ἀεὶ εἶχες πρὸς αὐτόν. μετέλαβον ὅτι τὰ ὀθόνια εὔωνά ἐστι παρά σοι· ἠγόρασα γὰρ ἐνθάδε τριακοσίων δραχμῶν καὶ οὐκ ἀρκεῖται. γράψις μοι οὖν, τίνι δῶ ταύτας καὶ ἄλλας ἔτι τριακοσίας δραχμάς, ἵνα σοι ἐνέγκῃ, ἐπὶ Φιβᾶς ὁ αὐτοῦ ἄπειρός ἐστιν τῶν τόπων καὶ οὐ δύναται μόνος προσελθεῖν καὶ οὐ δύναμαι αὐτὴ τειδρας τριακοσί νδω ἵνα ν Φιβᾶτι ἵνα ηναι, ἐπὶ ἀναγκαίως ἔχω ἀγοράσαι τὰ ὀθόνια. ἔρρωσο. Παχὼν ιζ. Ἀπολλωνίῳ ἀπὸ Ἄρσιτος μητρὸς Χαιρήμονος.
