Ἀπολλωνίωι τῶι τιμιωτάτωιτειμιωτάτωι χαίρειν. Χαιρήμονα τὸν ἀναδιδόντα σοι τὸ ἐπιστό λιον τοῦτο οὐκ ἀγνοεῖς, ἄδελφε· καὶ γὰρ πέ ρυσι ἐπὶ τὴν παράλημψιν τῶν ἱματίων αὐτὸν παρὰ σοὶ κατέλειψα καὶ νῦν δὲ πρὸς παράλημψιν κριθῆςκρειθῆς ἔπεμψα αὐτὸν, ᾧ παρακαλῶ ἐν πᾶσι σπουδάσαι καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν οὖσαν ἐν τῷ ὑπὸ σοὶ νομῷ κριθὴνκρειθὴν ἐν τάχει αὐτῷ ἐπιστεῖλαι καὶ βοήθειανβωήθειαν δοῦναιδῶναι, ἵνα διὰ σπουδῆς ἐμβαλόμενος πᾶσαν τὴν κριθὴν ταχέως εἰς Καινὴν παρακομίσῃ, ἐπεὶ διὰ τὴν τοῦ πεντηκοντάποδος στύλου καταγωγὴν πλεῖστα κτήνη ἔχομεν καὶ ἤδη σχεδὸν κριθῇκρειθῇ λειπόμεθα· πλεῖστον μοί, ἄδελφε, καὶ ἐν τούτῳ παρέξῃ, ἐὰν ἡ κριθὴκρειθὴ ταχέως εἰσγένηταιἰσγένηται. ἔτους γ Ἁδριανοῦ Καίσαρος τοῦ κυρίου γ. Ἀπολλωνίωι στρατηγῶι Ἑπτακωμίας.
