Ὡρείων Κηλέᾳ τῷ ἀδελφῷ χαίρειν. εὐσεβὲς τὸ πρᾶγμα ποιεῖς, ἐὰν ποιήσῃς τὸ βιβλίδιον ἐκεῖνο ὡς ἐγύμνασα αὐτὸ σὺν σοὶ ἐν τῇ πόλει· ἔχω γὰρ Ἡραπίωνα νῦν ἐξερχό μενον διὰ τοῦ Μαρεώτου, ἵνα αὐτὸ πράξῃ ἐν Ἀλεξανδρείᾳ γενά μενος· ἄλλον γὰρ σπουδαῖον οὐκ ἔ χωμεν μετὰ τοῦτον. ὥστε, ἄδελ φε, σπούδασον· καὶ νῦν τάχα ἡ σὴ σπουδὴ καὶ φιλοστοργίαφιλοστοργεία κατανι κήσῃκατανεικήσῃ τὴν ἐμὴν ακ ἀκαιρίανἀκαιρείαν καὶ περὶ τῶν βοηθῶν τῶν δεκαπρώ των καὶ Ἀσκληπιάδου οὐκέτι ἐδήλωσάς μοι. καὶ ἐὰνκἂν νῦν οὖν, κύ ριέ μου ἄδελφε, δήλωσόν μοι· οἶδα γὰρ ὅτι συνειδήσεισυνειδήσι σπουδάζεις ἐμοί· ἐμιάνθην γὰρ παρὰ πᾶσι. ἐρρῶσθαί σʼ εὔχομαι.
