βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν ος Μακεδὼν τριακοντάρουρος, τῶν οὔπω ὑπὸ ἡγεμόνα τη ἐμοῦ γὰρ ἀγοράσαντος τὸ Σεμθέως τοῦ κωμογραμματεύσα ντος τὴν αὐτὴν κώμην ἀπὸ τοῦ προκηρύγματος καὶ ἄλλας γῆς βασι λικῆς ην μυρίκινα ξύλα πλῆθος, γνοὺςγνου δὲ Δωρίων ὅτι εἰμι πρὸς δόμενος ἐξέκοψε ἄνευ ἐμοῦ τὰ ξύλα, τῆι ιβ τοῦ Χοίαχ, οὐκ ἀντιχρα ν ξύλων συντελούμενος, παρὰ τὸ σὸν πρόσταγμα. δέο μαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, εἴ σοι δοκεῖ, προστάξαι Διοφάνηι τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Ἰσοκράτηι τῶι ἐπιστά τηι νκαιοα ἀπενήνεκται αὐτά, μὴ ἐπιτρέπειν Δωρίωνι ἐπὶ Διοφάνην ἐλθόντα διακριθῆναί μοι, καὶ ἐὰνκὰν ἐνδείξωμαι τὰ διὰ τῆς ἐντεύξεως ὄντα ἀληθῆ, ἀποδοθῆναί μοι τὸ πρὸς μέρος τῶν ξύλων. τούτου γὰρ γενο μένου, ἔσομαι διὰ σέ, βασιλεῦ, τὸν πάντων κοινὸν σωτῆρα, τοῦ δικαίου τετευχώς. Ἰσοκράτηι. μάλιστα μὲν διάλυσον αὐτοὺς· εἰ δὲ μή, πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἀπόστειλον ὅπως ἐπισκεψώμεθα. ἔτους κε, Λώιου κϛ, Χοίαχ ιγ.Connections
