τῷ δεσπότῃ μου Ἀβιννέῳ Ἄγαθος. καὶ ἄλλοτε ἔγραψα πρὸς τὴν σὴν χρηστότητα, δέσποτα, ὅτι κατέχομαι ὑπὸ Ἰουλιανοῦ ὀφφικιαλίου ἑτέρων γραμμάτων ἕνεκα, καὶ ἐπειδὴἐπιδὴ μετεδόθη μοι ὅτι Οὐρά νιος λην εἰς τὰ κάστρα τὰς ἀννώνας οὐ συνέκλεισενσυνέκλισεν ἐποίησα τὸν ἐξάκτορα γράψαιγράψε πρὸς αὐτὸν ἵνα ὑποδέξηται παρὰ τῶν ἀπὸ Ταυρίνου, καὶ μὴ τοῦτοντοῦτων ἀπολύσῃς ἕως ἂν ἀπαλλάξω τὸν ὀφφικιάλιον καὶ ἔλθω ἐπὶ τὰ κάστρα καὶ ποιήσω πρὸς αὐτὸν τὸν λόγον μου· οὕτως γὰρ ἐκέλευ σεν ὁ κύριός μου ὁ δοῦξ ὅλας τὰς ἀννώνας τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐγκλεῖσαιἐνκλισαιννκλῖσαι ἐπὶ τὰ κάστρα ἐξ ἐντυχίας τῶν ἀκτουαρίων τῆς ἄνω Θηβαίδος, καὶ ἐκέλευσεν μετὰ τὴν σύνκλι σιν τοῦ σίτου ὀφφικιάλιον ἀποσταλῆναι καὶ συνθεωρῆσαι τὸν ἐν ἀθέτῳ σιτόκριθον. τούτου ἕνεκα ἔσπευ σα γράψαι πρὸς τὴν σὴν χρη στότητα, δεσπότα, ἵνα ποι ήσῃς τὸ πᾶν τοῦ σίτου καὶ κρι θῆς ἐνκλεῖσαιἐνκλῖσαι καὶ μηδεμία μέμψις ἐπακολουθήσει περὶ τούτου ἔτι. ἐάν σοι δοκοῦν ἐστὶν ἀπόστειλονἀπόστιλον ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως τὸν νῦν στρατευθέντα τίρωνα τῆς Διονυσι άδος Writing perpendicular to main text Ἀπολλῶν διὰ τὰ σπόρτουλασπόρδουλα καὶ ἐπειδὴ κατέχομαι ὑπὸ τοῦ ὀφφικιαλίου τούτουτου ἕνεκα. ἐρρῶσθαι εὔχομαι, κύριε πάτρων. τῷ δεσπότῃ μου πραιποσίτῳ Ἀβιννέῳ Ἄγαθος ἀκτουάριος.Connections
