Description

Stratippos, son of Titan, informs the village scribe of Theadelphia that his son, Nemesion, registered for the poll-tax in Philadelphia, died on the 5th of Choiak (December 1) in the 9th year of the emperor Claudius. The letter proceeds with the request that his son's name be removed from the list of individuals recorded in the village of Philadelphia as subject to the poll-tax.
