The name of the writer is lost, but the hand is that of Nikon. Apollonios had ordered him to take over some sheep from Artemidoros, and he asks Zenon to inform Apollonios that they have no sheep-pens and to give an order for the supply of building materials.
Νίκων Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. ἔγραψεν ἡμῖν Ἀπολλώνιος παραλαβεῖν παρʼ Ἀρτεμιδώρου πρόβατα ἐμφάνισον οὖν αὐτῶι ὅτι οὐχ ὑπάρχουσιν προβατῶνες. εἰ οὖν υν α χορηγηθῆι καὶ πλίνθος ἀπεγδοθῆι εἰς ταῦτα, ὅσης ἂν χρείαν ἔχωμεν. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους κθ, Φαμενὼθ . Ζήνωνι.
