Eingezahlt haben die Dorfältesten des Dorfes Karanis durch Petalos, den Einnehmer , für das Landgut, (dessen Einkünfte) früher von Theoneinos (gepachtet waren) , an Schafabgabe für das 14. Jahr siebenhundert Drachmen, das sind 700 Drachmen, an Quittungsgebühr 1 (Drachme), 3 1/2 Obolen . Verso Quittungen (?) des Landguts für das 14. Jahr.

The elders of the village of Karanis have paid through Petalos, tax collector , for the estate, (the revenues of which) were previously (leased) by Theoneinos , for dues for sheep of year 14 seven hundred drachmas, = 700 drachmas, for the receipt charge 1 (drachma), 3 1/2 obols .
