Description
Petition addressed to the dux Fl. Marianos from a widow called Sophia. Her first husband died leaving her a young child, and she has been unjustly divested of what he left to her. Marrying a second time, a certain Senouthes has caused the death of her econd husband, and taken to committing acts of violence against her. Finally, a man called Jeremiah, boethos from the village of Aphrodito, has taken her child from her, and refuses to give it back. Subscription in four lines on the verso. Belongs to the archive of Dioscoros.
