Hierokles to Zenon, greetings. […]es, who delivers to you this letter, happens to be related to the wife of Apollodotos. In their ignorance thereof, the men of Tlepolemos have referred his possessions to the royal (treasury), and in addition [number] drachmas are exacted for [number] years. Please take care that they grant him a delay till the next harvest. Apollodotos too cares (about the matter), so that I am convinced that you can manage. Year 35, Tubi 21. Hierokles to Zenon.

About this record's data
  • From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — HGV (Heidelberger Gesamtverzeichnis) — metadata.
  • AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
  • Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
  • Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
  • Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — HGV (Heidelberger Gesamtverzeichnis) — metadata.
