τῶν ἐπισινῶν ἢ ἄλλαις αἰτίαις ἀπολυθῆναι βουλομένων οἱ κωμογραμματεῖς ἔνορκοι τὰ ὀνόματα διδότωσαν τοῦ στρατηγοῦ παρακολουθοῦντος. οἱ δὲ πλαστοῖς ὑποδυόμενοι ὀνόμασιν οὐ χρηματικὴν πείσονται ζημίαν, τὸν τοῦ θεῶν ἐμφανεστάτου Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Νέρουα Τραιανοῦ Σεβαστοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Δακικοῦ πλανῶντες ἔλεονἔλαιον. οὐδεμίαν οἱ τοῖς βιβλίοις ἐμφερόμενοι παραί τησιν ἕξουσιν ὑπερτίθεσθαι βουλόμενοι, πάλαι τοῦ διαλογισμοῦ τὴν προθεσμίαν εἰδότες. τὰς δωροδοκίας ἐπὶ πᾶσι κωλύω γείνεσθαι, μὴ νῦν πρῶτον ἀπα γορεύωνἀπογορεύων τὸ κακούργημα τοῦτο. οἱ φίλους ἡγεμονικοὺς λαβόντες πρότερον κριτὰς καὶ μὴ ἀπαρτισθέντες ἐντυνχανετωσαν Ἰουλίῳ Μαξίμῳ τῷ ἀρχι στάτορι φίλωι, οἱ δʼ ἄλλοι πρὸςπρου τοὺς τῶν προτεθέντωνπροθεθεντων τοῦ διαλογισμοῦ ἐξή κοντος μὴ φθάσῃ ἀκουσθῆναι δυνήσεται ἐπὶ τοῦ κατὰ νομὸννομου στρατηγοῦ κριθῆναι. ἐὰν δὲ οἱ κριταὶ αἴτιοι γένωνται τῆς παρολκῆς, καθέξω αὐτοὺς μέ χρι ἂν ἀπαρτίσωσι τὰς διαγνώσεις. προτεθήτω. ἔτους ιδ Φαρμοῦθι α.
