ΝερβαῖοςΣερβαῖος Ἀφρικανὸς στρατηγοῖς ἐπι στρατηγίας ἑπτὰ νομῶν καὶ Ἀρσινοίτου χαίρειν. ἀπʼ αὐτῶν τῶν λόγωνόγων ἐφάνη ὡς πολλοὶ βουλόμενοι τὰς ταμιακὰς οὐσί ας κατεσθίεινκατεστείειν ὀνόματα ἑαυτοῖς ἐξευ ρόντες, οἱ μὲν χειριστῶν οἱ δὲ γραμ ματέων οἱ δὲ φροντιστῶν, ὄφελος μὲν οὐδὲν περιποιοῦσιν τῷ ταμείῳ τὰ δὲ περιγεινόμενα κατεσθίουσινκατεστείουσιν· διʼ ὅπερ ἐδέησεν ἐπισταλῆναι ὑμῖνὑμεῖν ἵνα ἑκάστηςεκαστηου οὐσίας ἕνα τινὰ φρον τιστὴν ἀξιόχρεων κινδύνῳ ἑκάστης βουλῆς αἱρεθῆναι ποιήσητεποιησαττε, τὰ δὲ λοιπὰ ὀνόματα παύσηται, δυναμένου τοῦ αἱρουμένου φροντιστοῦ δύο ἢ τό γε πλεῖστον τρεῖς προσαιρεῖν τοὺς ἐξυπηρετησομένους αὐτῷ πρὸς τὴν φροντίδα. οὕτως αὐτά τε τὰ μάταια ἀναλώματα παύσεται καὶ αἱ ταμιακαὶ οὐσίαι τῆς προσηκού σης ἐπιμελείας τεύξονται. δηλα δὴ δὲ τοιούτους αἱρεθῆναι ποιήσε τεποιήσειτεποιησειται τοὺςτου τοῖςτούτοισ φροντισταῖς ὑπηρετη σομένους οἳ καὶ βασάνοις ὑποκείσον ται. ἔρρωσθεερρωσο. ἔτους ε καὶ δ , Θὼθ ιϛ.
