Σεραπίων Ποταμῶνι τῷ φιλτάτῳ τῳ χαίρειν. πρὸ πάντων ἥγημαι διʼ ἐπιστολῆς σε ἀσπάσασθαι. παρακληθεὶς οὖν, φίλτατε, γράψεις μοι περὶ τῆς παρὰ σοὶ ἀγορᾶς· ἡ γὰρ ἐν τῷ Ὀξυρυγχείτῃ ἀλλοῖά ἐστι περι έργων·ἐστι· περιέργων ἐντολαὶ γὰρ καθʼ ἡμέραν ἐκεῖ ἔρχονται. ἀσπάζου τοὺς σοὺςσου πάντας καὶ τὸν κύριον Ἀπολλώ νιον, τὸν μόνον φίλον. ἔρρωσο.
