Διόσκορος Ἀμμωνίῳ τῶι πολλὰ χαίρειν. γινώσκειν σε θέλω ὅτι ἐκομισάμην σου ἐπιστόλιον διὰ Ἑρμείνου τοῦ κοινοῦ φί λου ὡς κομισαμένου σου παρʼ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν ἐμὸν λόγον ἀριθμοῦ δραχμὰς μ, ὁμοίως καὶ πυροῦ ἀρτάβας γ, καὶ παρὰ Ἀπολλῶτος δραχμὰς ιϛ, ὥστε εἶναι ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ δραχμὰς νϛ. ἴσθι δὲ σεαυτῷ ὅτι κατὰ προκοπὴν τῶν ἔργων οὐ λείψειλείψι σε τὸ κατʼ ἐμὲν μέρος ἀλλὰ διαπέμψο μαί σοι· διὸ παρακαλῶ σε, ἄδελφε, οὕτως αὐτῶν ἐπιμέλου μὴ ὡς μισθωσί μων ἀλλὰ ὡς ἰδιοκτήτων σου. καὶ καλῶς ποιήσεις ἀντιβαλὼν Σεμ πρωνίω τὸ λογαρίδιον ἵνα μοι αὐτὸ διαπέμψηται. ἰδού, καὶ ἀγράφιν ιαιω ἵνα εἰς αὐτὸ γράφῃ η εὐλαβῶς τὴν ἀρτάβην παρὰ Ἥρωνος δήλωσον ἔρρωσθαί σε δὲ εὔχομαι σὺν ὅλῳ τῷ ἀβασκάντω σου οἴκῳ. ἀπόδος Ἀμμωνίῳ Ἀπολλοδώρου
