Δίδυμος Πεθεῖ πρεσβυτέρῳ χαίρεινχαίρειν. ἀπέχω παρὰ σοῦ τὸντῶνπαρ’ αὐτῶν φόρον ὧν ἐμισθώσω ἐλαιώνωνἐλαι ώνωνἐλιώνωνἐλαιώνων περὶπερ Καρανίδα καὶ Ψεναρψένησιν καρπῶν τοῦτοῦ διελθόντος ϛ ἔτους ἐκπε πτωκότωνἐκπεπτοκότωνεισπεπτοτων εἰς τὸ ἐνεστὸς ζ ἔτος ἐλαίου μετρητὰς τρεῖς γίνονται μετρηταὶ γ καὶ θαλλὸν ἐλαιῶν ἀρτάβην ακα ἔτους ζ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Δομιτιανοῦ Σεβαστοῦ ΓερμανικοῦTranslations (1)
Didymos to Petheis the Elder, greetings. I receive from you the tax from them for the lease of olive groves [or similar land] around Karanis and Psenarpesenis from the produce of the past sixth year fallen into the current year. [A measure] of three metretai of oil amounts to three metretai and an artaba of olive branches in the seventh year of the Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus.
