ἡμῖν βασιλικὸς γραμ ματεὺς τὸ πλῆ θος, οὗ δεῖ λογευ θῆναι κατʼ ὠνὴν τῶν καθʼ ἡμᾶς τόπων εἰς τὸ ἐν Κανώπωι ἱερόν, ὧν ὑποτεθεί καμέν σοι τὸ κατ ήσεις ἐγλογεύσας παρὰ τῶν ἐθνῶν ἤδη καὶ ἀποδοὺς τοῖς ἀπεσταλμένοις σύμβολον οὖν ποιησά σθωσάν σοι οὗ ἂν λάβωσι πλήθους ζυτηρᾶς ϙη νιτρικῆς ιθ βαλανείων η τετάρτης γ ἐπωνίων α τριώβολον γίνονται ρκθ τριώβολον DemoticTranslations (1)
[NN an NN. Der Königliche] Schreiber [hat] uns die Menge [mitgeteilt], die gesondert nach den Steuerpachten des uns anvertrauten Gebietes zugunsten des Heiligtums in Kanopus erhoben werden muß, wofür wir Dir die [detaillierte Aufstellung] angefügt haben. [Du wirst daher gut daran tun], es rasch von den Gewerbetreibenden (ἔθνη) zu erheben und es den [Leuten, die - - -] gesandt worden sind, auszuhändigen. Sie sollen Dir eine Quittung [ausstellen] für die Menge, die sie empfangen. [Es handelt sich um:] 98 Drachmen für die Biersteuer, 19 Drachmen für die Natronsteuer, 8 Drachmen für die Bäderabgabe, 3 Drachmen für die 25% Abgabe, 1 Drachme 3 Obolen für die ἐπώνια, ergibt in der Summe 129 Drachmen 3 Obolen.
