Description

Only the right part of this letter has been preserved and the missing section makes our understanding of the text tentative and translation impossible. It is, however, clear that the writer complains that he has been deserted by his companions and would have been alone somewhere had he not forced a certain Enoch to stay with him. He asks the addressee for an iron tool and a ship to transport something. He also asks the recipient of the letter to reply.
